Bar Be No Queue

Seriously contrived headline I’ll be the first to admit but here’s the deal: those good folks over at Urban Baby have tipped us off to what is perhaps the only way of managing quality restuarant dining with the time constraints and financial pressures of baby-sitters.

The answer (in NY at least) is a new guide to eating at the bar. Titled @ the Bar – NYC Bar Dining Guide, this handy site and book offers top tips on getting a seat at Babbo, Nobu and many other spots where, if you time it right, you can actually get a good seat (sans reservation), a great meal and still make it home to meet the late-night feed deadline or relieve the baby-sitter before the combined cost of the evening breaks the bank.
