About six months ago, as Hugh and I were knocking around the idea of a new food site for kids and parents over transatlantic cocktails (mine an over-the-yard-arm snifter, his a brunch bloody mary) we hit upon a name for our venture that seemed to sum up the fun commitment to quality eating that we wanted to capture. That’s how Gastrokid was born and, since that time, we’ve been happy to see how well the name has been received. So, imagine our excitement at seeing Gastrokid enter the lexicon of culinary journalism this week thanks to the New York Times.
Onward and upward we say. May Gastrokid roll off the lips of headline writers across the land!
