Our Brooklyn friend, Beth, sent our little boy, Dylan, the Melissa & Doug wooden sushi play set that Hugh raved about a while back.
What can I say? We don’t normally double post on stuff but this toy bento box packed full of make your own sushi pieces rocks! It even has imitation ginger and wasabi.
I thought I’d help Dylan assemble a delicious looking piece of ebi sushi (complete with a mini nigiri collar) but he didn’t have time – he was too busy "chopping" the velcroed California maki with his imitation sushi knife.
For at least 15 minutes, the sushi set diverted our car-crazy son’s attention from the many incarnations of Lightning McQueen that have taken over our house. Trust me, that is high praise for a toy indeed.
