I’ve always hated wraps. Maybe its because I don’t like biting into a burrito and getting ambushed with a salad. But that’s exactly what I did to my kids the other day, when they refused to eat a green salad we’d made for them.
It was full over other good stuff: shredded beats and carrots, mesclun mix, a standard not too acidic lemon dressing, some grated parmesan.
I got some tortillas and wrapped up the salad for them and they eagerly polished off more salad than usual in this starchy vehicle. Even better, it was whole wheat tortilla.
