Kid Friendly Restaurants – Legs Inn, MI

Back from vacation in northern Michigan with a fun kid friendly restaurant to report on – the Legs Inn in Cross Village, MI.

Admittedly this is not a place you’ll just be stumbling upon as it sits 20 miles north of Harbor Springs at the top end of Michigan’s mitt. However, if you’re touring that part of the world then this historic Polish-American kitchfest is a must for adults and kids alike.

The adults loved the Smoked Whitefish spread and the Kielbasa & Sauerkraut (not to mention the stiff Polish vodka and tonics) while the kids were suckers for the Goulash, made with a mix of beef and pork served over pasta (now you know why they loved it!), and the kiddie Shirley Temple cocktails.

Add in strange totem poles, a great run-around garden, views of Lake Michigan and, oh yes, a games room and you’ve got adult/kiddie restaurant heaven.
