Once in a while, my day job sends me to places that have nothing to do with cooking for kids. Here’s one such example, in which I went to Tokyo to explore its obsessive cocktail scene. I read this sometimes, with a drink in my hand, as the kids soothe themselves with their equivalent escape: PBS kids sprout. I highly recommend visiting Tokyo with or without your kids. Just don’t do what I did to the degree that I did if you take them with you.
