Hugh Meets Hugh

Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall, British sustainable food guru, and his River Cottage operation in England were the subject of my latest piece in Bon Appétit (along with the story 50 Easy Ways to Eat Green). The family joined me and you can read about our omnivorous exploits here. The illustrations by Ross Macdonald are amazing, but somehow the drawing of red-headed father character doesn't quite reflect my Irish-Filipino heritage as precisely it might. Still, the pics are genius and I particularly like the little bunny cowering for his life in the right hand corner of the opening picture. Read the story. Cook the dish (pork not bunny).
