Kids love dessert so I guess it was no surprise that Dylan's first "recipe" would be of the sweet variety.
Last week he announced to Jowa and myself that he wanted to make a special dessert for us that he had thought up.
It was simplicity itself and a fine way to end off a family meal!
All you need, as Dylan instructs, is:
- a smattering of Cheerios
- a healthy dollop of Greek yogurt
- a handful of dried fruit chunks – mango or pineaple work especially well
Serve, eat as a family and enjoy. Go back for seconds.

reminded me of my son, loves cheerios..
Getting children involved in food at a young age is amazing. They really do love it and treat it like a game without knowing the educational value. Learning and having fun at the same time is one of the best ways to learn. Well done.
