Hi Caroline,

Just saw this comment. Think there is an oversight in the book. The ribs should be covered and protected from the heat by foil. That will keep the moisture in. 325 is fine for the whole cooking period. Hope they are better next time!

I am not sure that it is fair to suggest that food coloring " causes" Cancer , ADD/ADHD etc. There is food coloring in just about everything so maybe that being said " everything causes Cancer" . I noticed that the price for a sample pack of natural food coloring is $ 59.95 ? Wow that's a expensive jug of juice now isn't it ? Nice idea :) Perhaps we should peel a beet and toss it in giving a nice rosy hue , much cheeper !

Just made these from the Gastrokid cookbook. After 30 minutes in the oven at 325 there was no sauce left, and I had to add a cup of water. I added water several more times during the cooking and to say the least I had nothing to reduce down and broil onto the ribs at the end of cooking. Now the recipe in the cookbook does not mention putting foil over them as it does here, so I did not have them covered in foil...does that make all the difference or is there a typo somewhere? Some missing liquid? Is 325 oven for the whole 2.5 hours too high? My oven temp was stable and 325. Thanks!

I purchased two bento boxes from mod cloth, and they look great but they have blemishes from the strap. Also the strap is not lined up properly. I am so disappointed in this product because I was really looking forward to its arrival. It looks so awesome online, but the two i purchased were less than desirable. This is a 40 dollar product that could be amazing. I still want the product, but without flaws.

Get your kids to watch any of the "Land Before Time" movies and any kind of greens- broccoli in particular- will instantly become "green food" (leaves or trees). When I was little I used to scarf insane amounts of broccoli and even spinach/other leaf-looking foods while pretending I was a dinosaur :) I'd ask for it specifically so I could make little forests on my plate.

Babies natuarally want to follow their moms and dads, especially at dinner time! So this is a great way of learning how to eat real food stuffs, acquire the flavours and get the nutrient benefits all at the same time.
